In 2024, iNet Technologies & Communications proudly accompanied the Papua New Guinea Sports Foundation (PNGSF) to Honiara, Solomon Islands, as part of PNG’s delegation to the Melanesian Spearhead Group (MSG) meetings. The trip marked an important milestone for iNet as it provided professional digital media and documentation services for two major regional events: the MSG Prime Ministers’ Cup and the MSG Sports Committee Meeting.

As PNGSF’s technical and media partner, iNet was tasked with capturing key moments throughout the MSG PMs Cup, documenting match action, official ceremonies, team activities, and stakeholder engagements. The tournament brought together Melanesian nations in a celebration of sport, unity, and regional cooperation, and iNet’s team worked closely with PNGSF to ensure PNG’s participation was professionally recorded through photography, video coverage, and structured digital content for reporting and promotional use.

Alongside the sporting activities, iNet also documented the MSG Sports Committee Meeting, where senior sports administrators and government representatives from across the region convened to discuss policy direction, athlete development, regional competitions, and collaborative frameworks for sport in Melanesia. iNet provided comprehensive coverage of the meeting proceedings, capturing presentations, panel discussions, and formal engagements to support PNGSF’s reporting requirements and future strategic planning.

The Honiara assignment further strengthened iNet Technologies & Communications’ role as a trusted partner to PNGSF, demonstrating its growing capacity in event documentation, multimedia production, and digital data management at an international level. For iNet, the experience represented more than just content creation—it reinforced the company’s commitment to supporting Papua New Guinea’s sporting ecosystem by delivering professional services that help tell PNG’s story across the region. Through this collaboration, iNet continues to contribute to elevating PNG’s presence in regional sport while building pathways for stronger digital integration across national and international sporting platforms.
